Peer Review Policy

The Journal of AI-Enabled Engineering and Technical Education (JAIEETE) uses a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

Editorial Screening

All submissions are first assessed by the editorial team for:

  • Relevance to the journal's aims and scope
  • Originality and scholarly contribution
  • Overall quality and clarity
  • Compliance with journal policies and submission requirements
  • Research and publication ethics

Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be declined without external review.

External Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass editorial screening are normally evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise.

Reviewers assess the manuscript based on its:

  • Originality and significance
  • Methodological quality
  • Technical and academic soundness
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Relevance to engineering and technical education
  • Validity of conclusions
  • Ethical and scholarly standards

Editorial Decision

Based on the reviewers' reports and editorial assessment, a manuscript may receive one of the following decisions:

  • Accept
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject

The final publication decision is made by the responsible editor.

Reviewer Confidentiality

Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share, reproduce, or use unpublished material for personal advantage.

Conflicts of Interest

Editors and reviewers must disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest that could affect impartial evaluation. When a significant conflict exists, another qualified reviewer or editor will be assigned.

Reviewer Conduct

Peer-review reports should be objective, constructive, respectful, and supported by clear academic reasoning. Personal criticism of authors is not acceptable.

Revised Manuscripts

Authors may be asked to respond to reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript. Revised submissions may be returned to the original reviewers when further evaluation is required.

Editorial Independence

Peer-review and editorial decisions are based solely on scholarly quality, relevance, originality, methodological soundness, and contribution to the journal.

Financial considerations, institutional affiliation, nationality, or personal relationships do not influence editorial decisions.
